NE360C Stand: Tablet Adapter Removal and Replacement Guide

Step 1: Disconnect Power

• Unplug the NE360C stand from power. 

Step 2: Attempt to Remove the Tablet Adapter

1. Place the stand on its back.

2. Locate the hole in the tablet adapter.

3. 

4. Insert a paperclip into the hole and push the latch.

   • This may require multiple attempts as it is a blind operation.
5. 
   • Tip: Refer to the image below showing the inside of the tablet adapter and how the paperclip aligns with the latch.
6. Pull the tablet adapter off the stand.

• • If successful, stop here.
  • If unsuccessful, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Disassemble the Stand

1. Turn the stand over so it is resting on the front face of the tablet/tablet frame.
2. Remove the 4 Phillips screws securing the front frame.

1. Turn the stand back over and remove the front frame.
2. 
3. Unplug the lightning connector from the iPad.
4. 
5. Remove the iPad from the frame to expose the tablet adapter.
6. 
7. Unplug and remove the Apple Camera Adapter Assembly.
8. 
9. Peel back the double-sided adhesive to expose the 4 Phillips screws, then remove the screws.
10. 

Step 4: Expose the Tablet Adapter’s PCB

1. Remove the plastic top of the tablet adapter to expose the Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
2. Remove the 2 screws holding the PCB in the tablet adapter.
3. Secure the black rubber in the center of the PCB to prevent it from being lost.
4. Remove the PCB.

Step 5: Remove and Replace the Tablet Adapter Housing

1. Insert a flat blade screwdriver between the latch and the plastic housing.
2. Push the latch into the stand to release the tablet adapter housing.
3. Remove the tablet adapter housing.
4. Replace the housing with a new plastic housing.
   • Transfer the magnets from the old housing to the new housing.

This process completes the removal and replacement of the tablet adapter.
