Context: The Admin and Users in LIVE Access are assigned a PIN at random to:
- Login manually into the LIVE Access mobile app
- Check out an IR4 OneKEY using the OKM.
This PIN is visible on the user interface only when the user account is created and/or when the passcode/pin is reset; after the admin user clicks out the box, the numerical PIN will not be visible anymore on the user interface level of LIVE Access.
Please note: If the PIN/Passcode is reset, and the end user is trying to checkout an IR4 Key, they will have to wait a couple of minutes before they can actually checkout the IR4 Key using the new PIN. This is not the case when trying to log in to the LIVE Access mobile app using that same PIN.
What happens if you forget to write down the PIN you just generated or forget the PIN and do not wish to reset the PIN? How can you verify what the current valid PIN is?
- An ADMIN User Type has to log in to the designated LIVE Access environment >
- If using a global ADMIN User Type, filter the LIVE Access environment by site number
- Click on the USERS tab >
- Click on Export Users (from the second column)
- A CSV file gets exported/downloaded
- Filter the results and find the user you are trying to search.
- On column 'E' = PIN you will find the numerical result of the current active PIN that is tied to the user.
