Padlock FAQ

The below Order Codes and Part Numbers have the new fixes for better weather protection.

Possible Cause:

A common issue here is that there is tension on the Padlock shackle arm. Pulling force on the arm trying to pull it out. When this occurs the lock will not disengage.

Resolution:

Turn the Padlock so that the cable or fixture is not putting pressure on the arms of the Shackle.

The padlock should now unlock.

Possible Cause:

The locking Arm has been stuck and did not complete its rotation.

Resolution:

Moving the shackle up and down a few times can reset the locking arm. Then keying the lock will work to unlock it.

Possible Cause:

The OneKey was pulled out too quickly not being able to provide full power to the lock.

Resolution:

Put the OneKey back in the lock and press the button to unlock it. Leave it in the padlock until the device beeps with the success beep. Remove the OneKey. The Lock should now be able to lock.

Possible Cause:

The motor on the padlock has failed.

Resolution:

Reach out for support. Make sure to have the 4-digit Date Code in the ticket.
