LIVE Locks - Battery Replacement Procedure

Context: This procedure is applicable to all InVue LIVE Locks:

• Slider LIVE Lock: LL101-B 
• Plunger LIVE Lock: LL201-B
• Cam LIVE Lock: LL301-B

Tool needed: InVue magnet tool, article number: 100672049

Upon removing the lid, proceed with replacing the batteries.

Ensure the battery prongs are in an angled position; reference this article for example.

Battery type needed: CR123A (3v)

Quantity of CR123A (3V) batteries needed per InVue LIVE Lock: 2

LIVE Locks | Battery Issues

Occasionally, when LIVE Locks are installed, the batteries may not work as intended.  This may be because the metal prongs within the battery compartment are compressed in a "flat" state. (To access the battery compartment, the magnet tool [Order Code: DBG400] is needed to remove the battery cover.)

To solve, the metal prongs should be gently lifted as shown in the photo below.  The image shows a compressed prong at the top that needs to be fixed, and a properly functioning prong a the bottom. Once the prongs are fixed, reinstall the batteries and test to ensure proper functionality.
