Apple Tablets USB Charging Issue IOS 16

UPDATE: IOS 16.5.3 now resolves this issue. Please update if you are not on this release.

This notice is for customers with a previous purchase of InVue’s NE360C Convertible POS Center and CT3103 (charge/data cable assembly) for use with Apple tablets.

On Monday, February 13, 2023, Apple released iOS 16.3.1. Due to the updated operating system, there is a potential that the USB connectivity to InVue’s NE360C will be impacted. Apple is aware of this issue and is committed to resolving it promptly. Although there is no set date for Apple to resolve the issue, we will of course provide any updates that we become aware of.

To manage the impact in the meantime, InVue suggests that you test any new image prior to deployment if you have connected any USB peripherals to the NE360C Convertible POS Center. If a USB connectivity issue is identified, please contact InVue Customer Service at 1-888-55-INVUE or by email at techsupport@invue.com or customerservice@invue.com. It may also be helpful for you to submit a ticket directly to Apple’s support team.
