Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter Firmware Update Instructions

When the iPad is turned on and the lightning connector is plugged in from the stand, the following message will come up:

Select “Update” and allow the firmware for the Apple USB Camera Adapter to update

(The Apple Camera Adapter is part of the CT3103 Order Code)

The firmware can be checked on the iPad by going in: General -> Settings -> About -> Apple USB Camera Adapter

The updated firmware version should be 1.0.5. If it is lower the firmware needs to be updated.

The message for the Accessory Update can be generated by unplugging the lightning connector for a few seconds and then plugging back into the iPad. It may take a number of seconds for the message to come up after plugging the connector back in.
