Issue Summary
During the transition from IR1 OneKEYs to IR4 OneKEYs, users may encounter issues transferring the Store Digital Code (SDC) or pairing new IR4 OneKEYs. This guide helps troubleshoot problems during the IR key upgrade process.
Symptoms

IR4 OneKEY fails to operate with store/floor equipment

IR2 Programming Station does not appear to recognize IR1 OneKEY

IR4 OneKEY does not receive the SDC code

Store equipment reports a key mismatch or an unrecognized key
Cause
This issue typically occurs due to missteps in the SDC code transfer process or using incompatible devices:

IR1 OneKEY is only compatible with IR2 Programming Stations, not IR4 OneKEYs directly.

IR4 OneKEY must be paired with an IR2 Programming Station that has already received the store’s SDC code.

The IR1 Programming Station is not compatible with IR4 OneKEYs.
Resolution Steps
Step 1: Insert the IR1 OneKEY (containing the store’s SDC code) into a blank/new IR2 Programming Station to transfer the SDC code.
Step 2: Ensure the IR2 Programming Station is now programmed with the store SDC code.
Step 3: Charge the IR4 OneKEY for at least 8 hours to ensure a full battery.
Step 4: Pair the fully charged IR4 OneKEY with the now-programmed IR2 Programming Station.
Step 5: Test the IR4 OneKEY with store/floor equipment to confirm successful programming.
💡 Tip: Always use a blank/new IR2 Programming Station for the SDC transfer from an IR1 OneKEY to avoid overwriting existing store configurations.
Workaround (if applicable)
If the IR2 Programming Station is not available, the SDC code cannot be transferred directly to the IR4 OneKEY. Wait until an IR2 Programming Station is accessible before continuing.
