Environment
- OnePOD Stands with integrated tether cables
- OnePOD Sensor Pucks connected to tether
- DBG406/InVue Magnet Tool required
Problem Description
Users are unable to unplug the tether cable from the OnePOD sensor puck due to the secure locking mechanism. Proper technique and tool usage are necessary to perform this action safely and effectively.
Symptoms
- Tether cable appears stuck or locked into the sensor
- Resistance when attempting to disconnect manually
- Unsuccessful attempts to twist and remove the cable head
Cause
The OnePOD sensor features a magnetic locking mechanism that requires the DBG406/InVue Magnet Tool to disengage the tether connection. Improper positioning or insufficient force can prevent removal.
Solution
-
Required Tool: DBG406/InVue's "Magnet Tool"; see image reference:
-
Magnet Positioning:
- Place the flat magnetic tip of the DBG406 tool onto the bottom-outer rim of the sensor puck.
- Position it next to the sensor’s neck—where the tether cable head connects.

Cable Disconnection:
- While keeping the magnet tool in place with one hand, use your other hand to push in and twist the tether cable head.
