Status Press or Power Transfer:
LED illuminates for 1 second when the button is pressed with the key in the open air.
When key is seated inside of the well and the button is pressed momentarily, the LED is solid for as long as the user is supposed to hold it in place (1-1.5seconds)

IR Coms (Only)
When the key is seated against the IR dot or inside of the well and the button is pressed momentarily, the LED is solid for 1 second showing the following:

IR Coms + Power Transfer (Locks)
When the key is seated against the IR dot or inside of the well and the button is pressed momentarily, the LED is solid for as long as the user is supposed to hold it in place (1-1.5 seconds) showing the following:

Green + Nak, Nak | Successful IR communication but key not held up to product long enough for complete power transfer. |
Yellow + Chirp | Successful transaction BUT change key immediately. Battery or timeout running low. |

Red + Nak, Nak | Transaction not authorized |

AK4400:

If LED is green when the button is pressed, key is fully charged and ready to use. | If LED is green when the button is pressed, key has more than 1 hour of active usage. | If the LED is blue, the key is active and ready to use. |
If LED is yellow-orange when the button is pressed, the battery is getting low and may not work on all security products. It should be returned to the charger. | If LED is yellow-orange when the button is pressed, there is less that 1 hour of active usage time left on the key. It should be reprogrammed on the Programming Station as soon as possible. | If the LED is red, the key is deactivated and needs to be reprogrammed before further use. |

AF4400:
- If the LED flashes Green1 time when the button is pressed, the key is no longer active and needs to be reprogrammed immediately.
- If the LED flashes green 2 times when the button is pressed, the key is active and you can continue to use it.
- If the LED flashes green continuously, the key is reaching the end of its life and should be replaced.
- If the LED flashes red continuously, the key has reached the end of its life and must be replaced.
