Requirements
- NFC enabled on your device.
- Bluetooth enabled on your device.
- Camera Permission enabled for the application.
- Nearby Devices Permission enabled for the application.
- The App installed from either the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
- Your Android phone on Android 9 or above.
- Your Apple phone on iOS 12 or above.
- Your Customer ID from your Web application.
- Your passcode from the Web application ready.
There are currently four ways to access and unlock the LIVE locks. Please select the method in the dropdown below.
NFC
For NFC you need to verify that your NFC chip is turned on these articles below will walk you through that process if you are not sure. Once you have confirmed the settings are on you can proceed.
- IOS: NFC on iPhone
- Android: NFC on Android
- Make sure you are logged in. You will see the Main Screen below.

- From the main screen, you can place the phone on the surface of the LIVE lock. Be sure to hold it in place until you see the screen change to the one below.
- At this point, the lock is unlocked. It will stay this way for four seconds. After that, the lock will re-engage.
- Once you open the lock you will see the following screen. Once here the lock will not auto lock. The exception to this is the Slider lock that re-engages even when removed from the strike plate.
- Once you are done, close the fixture and secure the lock back in place. You will see the below screen briefly to show you were successful.
- After that, the Screen will move to the lock status screen below. Repeat steps 1 - 5 as needed.
Camera
The Camera function uses the QR code underneath the lid on the handle of the LIVE lock this can be opened with a small flathead screwdriver or our plastic tool that comes on our OneKeys.
- Make sure you are logged in. You will see the Main Screen below.

- Hit the Right Arrow one time to get to the camera screen.
- From the camera screen, hold it in place until you see the screen change to the one below.
- At this point, the lock is unlocked. It will stay this way for four seconds. After that, the lock will re-engage.
- Once you open the lock you will see the following screen. Once here the lock will not auto lock. The exception to this is the Slider lock that re-engages even when removed from the strike plate.
- Once you are done, close the fixture and secure the lock back in place. You will see the below screen briefly to show you were successful.
- After that, the Screen will move to the lock status screen below. Repeat steps 1 - 6 as needed.
Laser Scan (Honeywell CT40 Only)
The laser function is designed only for the Honey CT40. If you are not using this model of phone we do not guarantee the app functioning as instructed below.
- Make sure you are logged in. You will see the Main Screen below.

- From the main screen, you can press the laser scan button on either side of the device until you see the screen change to the one below.
- Make sure you aim the Laser at the QR code on the LIVE lock. If you do not see the QR code you must remove the lid on the handle of the LIVE lock itself.
- At this point, the lock is unlocked. It will stay this way for four seconds. After that, the lock will re-engage.
- Once you open the lock you will see the following screen. Once here the lock will not auto lock. The exception to this is the Slider lock that re-engages even when removed from the strike plate.
- Once you are done, close the fixture and secure the lock back in place. You will see the below screen briefly to show you were successful.
- After that, the Screen will move to the lock status screen below. Repeat steps 1 - 5 as needed.
Manual Press
The Last way in the app to Unlock the LIVE locks is by finding the lock manually in the Mobile app.
- Make sure you are logged in. You will see the Main Screen below.

- From the main screen, you can press the grey bar at the bottom to search for the locks. Keep in mind that you have to be in range for the lock to unlock this way.
- Once here the app will show you all the locks you are authorized to use based on your permissions.
- If the lock you are trying to access is in range you will see it with the status and the battery indicator to the right of the lock.
- Once there you can select the lock you wish to unlock.
- This will bring you to the lock status screen. The next step is to touch the circle. once you have you should see the lock screen move to the screen below and you can now open the fixture.
- Once here the app will show you all the locks you are authorized to use based on your permissions.
- At this point, the lock is unlocked. It will stay this way for four seconds. After that, the lock will re-engage.
- Once you open the lock you will see the following screen. Once here the lock will not auto lock. The exception to this is the Slider lock that re-engages even when removed from the strike plate.
- Once you are done, close the fixture and secure the lock back in place. You will see the below screen briefly to show you were successful.
- After that, the Screen will move to the lock status screen below. Repeat steps 1 - 5 as needed.
OneKey
Using OneKey is the last method for unlocking our locks and does not use the app at all. This is best used if the battery in the lock is dead, or if your phone is not charged.
